STILL 0!
Blair's ANC is still 0 but he hasn't had a fever since the first one he got. He is up and playing but he just will not eat. Pray that his counts start to recover soon and that he doesn't get CDIF. CDIF happens when they have no counts and are on antibiotics. He had a bowel movement today and it was normal so for now he's good.

FEVER!
I was so weak today
I wanted to leave but had to stay
Blair had a fever that needed a poke
The burden was heavy along with the yoke
He screamed so loud, "Don't touch me."
It's for the best just wait you'll see
My heart faltered as they held him down
I attempted to smile rather than frown
Please God get me through
I can do nothing it's up to You
The needle went in without a flinch
Blair your done what a cinch
I had borrowed trouble that wasn't there
My Saviour new what I could and couldn't bear
Thank You God for saving me
from so much pain and misery
It' been a difficult road I'll admit that's true
But God and only God is the One who will see me through
I wanted to leave but had to stay
Blair had a fever that needed a poke
The burden was heavy along with the yoke
He screamed so loud, "Don't touch me."

ANC IS 0!
Blair's ANC is still 0 it was 0 yesterday also. The PA told us this morning that he is impressed Blair had an ANC of 0 and didn't get a fever. It's obvious Who is responsible for such an outcome.
This morning Hannahleah and I went to take a shower and on our way out of Blair's room we heard a siren going off. Three doors down a child was having problems and doctors were everywhere. Nurses were running it was crazy. They ended transfering the child to a different floor so I'm not sure how he's doing. As I was praying for him I thought this could be us. Blair's room could be the one making all the noise as doctors scurry to save his life. I thanked God we haven't had this happen to us. Being here reminds you all to well what can happen and I am so THANKFUL that God has seen fit to spare my family from such grief.
Continue to pray for Blair as his counts are dangerously low. Pray for no fever but mainly no infection.

PLATELETS!
Today Blair needed a platelet transfusion because his platelets were only 9,000. Normal platelet count is 250,000 to 500,000. His ANC is 21 so it's slowly going down. I compared his counts from the last time he got High Dose AraC and found he is doing quite similar which is good. He eats a lot and has quite a bit of energy I thank God for that.

STARTING TO DROP!
Blair's ANC is 96 this morning. I am actually pleased with how he is doing I thought for sure his ANC would be 0 and couple of days ago. Now its the waiting game for his counts to hit rock bottom and then climb again. Blairs eyes are doing so much better thank God. Ryan and Hannahleah came last night so we had a slumber party in Blair's room it was really fun! Thank you everyone for praying for Blair I can't describe how thankful I am to have so much support.

A BETTER DAY!
The eye specialist came and looked at Blair's eyes this evening. After the initial trauma of getting him to put the numbing medicine in his eyes the doctor could finally get a good look and Blair's corneas. I thank God Ryan was there and he got to be the bad guy, all I wanted to do was cry as they held him down. But after all the struggle the doctor said that he had no damage and that his eye was severly dry and time and saline drops would heal him. I feel so blessed that it isn't worse because the doctor explained to me that the type of chemo Blair got, works its way out through secretion. Everytime Blair cried he was sloshing chemo over his eyes. It seems like God gets us out of every tough situation were in.
